91 free spots left — then bidding is the only way in.
Take a free spotThe whole rulebook
01
The first ones in are free
The first 100 candidates and the first 10 companies join for nothing and keep a permanent Founding mark. The number left is counted from the board itself, not decided by us — when it says zero, it is zero.
02
After that, $1 to join
Once the free spots are gone it costs $1 to get on the board. Once. No subscription, no renewal, no fee to stay. It is there so anyone reading the board knows the people on it meant it — both sides put money down.
03
Everyone opens at $1
Free spot or paid, every profile starts on the board at $1. There is no other starting price and no tier that begins higher. What you paid to get in buys nothing on the board — only bidding does.
04
You only pay again to climb
Nothing recurring, nothing per application, no priority credits. After joining, the only reason money changes hands is that you decided a higher position was worth it.
05
Your bid is your position
Whole dollars. Bid what the spot is worth to you and the board sorts itself — the highest number sits at the top.
06
Same amount? Whoever got there first
Two people can hold the same bid. The one who reached that price first ranks above. To pass somebody you pay more than them.
07
Positions change instantly
The moment a bid lands, the new bidder takes the position and the previous holder drops one place. The board updates live for everyone.
08
A bid buys the spot for as long as it lasts
There is no rental period and no expiry. You hold the position until somebody pays more — that might be four minutes or four months. Every profile shows how long its current holder has been sitting there.
09
Defending your spot keeps the clock running
Raising your own bid while you already hold a position does not reset the timer. The clock only restarts when a position actually changes hands.
10
Every company's openings are visible
Any company can run up to 5 live openings and they are all visible to candidates. What #1 buys is placement — your logo and your roles at the top of the board rather than a row in the list.
11
Candidates are matched, then ranked by bid
Matching is on function, skills, job title, experience and location or remote preference. Among everyone who matches, the ranking is whatever they're bidding.
12
Applying is free, and needs no account
Your profile is the application. One click attaches it to an opening — no CV upload, no cover letter, no sign-up. Companies see who applied, ranked by what they are bidding.
13
One person, one profile
Your LinkedIn is your identity here. The same LinkedIn cannot hold two spots, however you spell the URL.
What you cannot post
Porn, nudity or sexual content of any kind; adult-industry and sex work; anything illegal, unsafe or exploitative; pyramid schemes and jobs that ask the candidate for money; discrimination, slurs or harassment; and fake profiles, fake companies or listing somebody who did not agree to be listed.
Removed on sight, no refund. Full list in the Terms.
